Now..over the next few weeks, all Grade Three students will be performing on Thursday 14th May 2015 at 1.50pm-2.20pm in the Middle School Hall. This will be our first ukulele and ocarina concert
Extra rehearsals are as follows: (Please remind the students to bring in their instruments!) Wednesday 13th May 2015 - All Grade 3's rehearse 1.05pm-2.20pm Homework for concert on 14th May 2015 HOMEWORK: All Grade 3’s play - Japanese Flower Song 2x and Lullaby 2x (without sheet music, you need to learn these songs off by heart!) G3.1SC, G3.3AK, G3.3AR and 3.1SC: Acka Backa pg. 31. (with music) For Acka Backa: Say the words 2x, Play 2x, Sing the words 2x Practice Japanese Flower Garden and Lullaby with this backing track: For the students learning to play Hogwart's March. Here's a little video to watch, so you can hear the tune, it is played on brass instruments! Hi Students, here's your homework:
1. Learn Japanese Flower Garden (without sheet music.) 2. Practice a piece of choice for performance Remember your recorder next week, as we'll be recording a piece for your eportfolios! NEWSFLASH - G2/G3 Music Festival!
There will be a Grade Two and Grade Three Music Festival on Thursday 14th May 2015 in the Middle School Hall from 1.50pm-2.20pm. This is especially for parents to come along and hear the instruments that your son/daughter has been learning to play. All Grade Three students will need to bring their recorders and all Grade Two students will play the ukulele. We are looking forward to entertaining you! See you Soon! Beginners:
