NEWSFLASH - G2/G3 Music Festival!
There will be a Grade Two and Grade Three Music Festival on Thursday 14th May 2015 in the Middle School Hall from 1.50pm-2.20pm. This is especially for parents to come along and hear the instruments that your son/daughter has been learning to play. All Grade Three students will need to bring their recorders and all Grade Two students will play the ukulele. We are looking forward to entertaining you! See you Soon
Extra rehearsals are as follows: (Please remind the students to bring in their instruments!)

Kosuke played a piano piece for us today for show and tell! He has been playing the piano for 3-4 years.

Grade 2.1 (Ms Uyen's class) students have been sharing their favourite songs for a show and tell session each week. This week Archana shared a song. Last week, Lucas, Olga and Saki shared their songs which included Pineapple Princess, Once upon a December by Anastacia and Minecraft Gangham style! Also Sota shared some theme song music by John Williams and Saachi shared a mine craft pop song!
The show and tell sessions have nearly finished and students enjoyed hearing each other's favourite song choices! Each student also created their own melody on the xylophone which has been uploaded to the class Eportfolios and added to the music portfolios that you can view at the student conference on Wednesday 5th November 2014. |

Grade 2.2 Ms Mason's Class sharing a favourite song
Jake and Yvonne presented their favourite songs today! Last week, Samantha and Djoeke enjoyed playing"Beat it" and "The Cup Song." The whole class started to sing along! Kamal and Sophia shared their songs. They answered lots of questions from the students too!

Sara played a Michael Jackson song and Darcy played Final Countdown today. It was a lively lesson! Last week Matthew and Carl shared their songs with their class. Others students have taken turns to play their songs and chat about them too each week!
