All Grade Four students composed their own melodies and played them in class. This served to improve their notational and creative skills. Here are some of the melodies from 4.3AD. Here are some videos by 4.1TF, they have been practicing and performing in small groups today! Here's a reminder for all Grade Four students. It's really important to keep practicing your playing at home. This will really help you to be able to play a range of pieces confidently and it will also improve your knowledge of music. Keep up the hard work and it really will pay off!
Grade 4 students have been composing their own melodies this week. For homework, they have to come up with two different melodies and write them down in either traditional notation or non-traditional notation. We started to explore this in class and next week, everyone will get to share their melody with the rest of the class.
